Di Billick is an actor, author, and comedian, currently performing in Chicago.
Named an Official Artist (Writer, Producer, Actor) of the 2015 New York Television Festival, Di can also be seen as a dramatic actress in films, commercials, and videos. Blackouts, A project she wrote, produced, and starred in with fellow comedians Dandy Boy, has aired on IFC’s Comedy Crib. Di is an alumni of The Second City Conservatory, and is an ensemble member of The Cupid Players, who perform in Cupid Has a Heart On, Chicago’s longest-running musical comedy. Di’s career as a high fashion and commercial print model, which opened the doors to on-camera acting, began in 2003.
As a sketch and solo comedy writer and performer, Billick takes the personal thoughts and moments we all have, and turns them into biting songs, unabashed sketches, and absurd television. From honestly dirty to fearlessly honest, Di has taken our personal hopes, our deep questions, and our silly, wicked moments to the stage and screen.
Di completed her first fiction novel in the fantasy genre in 2018. In her spare time, you can find her at home playing video games, out on the beach birdwatching, reading too many memoirs, or spending time with her perfect angel Pug, Lucy. She hails from the south side of Chicago, and only goes back for the Chinese food and acupuncture. She uses a grandma grocery cart to get her groceries.
